Ice Cool Kids

One of the charities which all of us here at Montagne Jeunesse are proud to be associated with is Ice Cool Kids.

Based in Port Talbot and run entirely by volunteers, the aim of Ice Cool Kids is to take groups of special needs children, some with life limiting conditions on skiing trips both in the UK and abroad, when funds permit. ICK allows these kids the chance to experience an activity from which they would normally be excluded. Not only is this of great therapeutic value but of course also provides the kids to enjoy a huge sense of fun, enjoyment and achievement. What they learn from skiing in terms of co-ordination, balance and movement control can help these kids achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life.

Supporting causes in the community in which we are based is very important to us here at MJ and as we enter our third year of being associated with the Ice Cool Kids it is a cause we look forward to supporting for many years to come.

Ice Cool Kids and Montagne Jeunesse
Receiving the annual donation from Montagne Jeunesse on behalf of Ice Cool Kids are Sarah, Nathan and Danielle.  Nathan is one of the many kids who have benefitted from skiing with Ice Cool Kids.
